This graph shows that in melted condition DSS is 100% Ferritic. You can see how the Austenitic phase develops during cooling down. The 50/50% Ferrite / Austenite shows the ideal quenching temperature. You can also recognize the detrimental phases which could grow into the duplex. If you have a question please don’t hesitate to contact Raymond on his e-mail

During this Welding Webinar, Loïc Amadu, Rob Spelt and Raymond presented the following subjects: Welding of DSS – what happens to base material and weld material by Loïc, Tip-TIG technical results by Rob and DSS in general, from Craftsman to Operators by Raymond, including a very nice marketing video by Polysoude. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. The workshop smoothly went over into the “Ask the Dr. session” with: Prof. Dr. Dirk Engelberg (University Manchester) – Dr. Lena Wegrelius (Outokumpu) – Dr. Thomas Ladwein (Steinbeis Korrosion und Werkstoff) – Barinder Ghai (Sandvik) – Raymond Cordewener (CM&C): in which we answered a lot of questions. If you have a question please don’t hesitate to contact Raymond on his e-mail
