HT & Quenching of DSS

This graph shows that in melted condition DSS is 100% Ferritic. You can see how the Austenitic phase develops during cooling down. The 50/50% Ferrite / Austenite shows the ideal quenching temperature. You can also recognize the detrimental phases which could grow into the duplex. A Patented new Pipespool welding process will be discussed during Raymond’s Welding Workshop during the next SSW conference in Maastricht [NL]. Details will be published soon.
